Inquire about back-up project plans, if necessary, in case of inclement

Discuss whether the organization will provide breakfast and/or lunch for
volunteers or whether volunteers are to bring their own; discuss who
will provide water for volunteers during the project |

Confirm whether the project will involve direct client contact and
whether there is any information volunteers need to know about
interacting with the clients prior to
Day of Caring |

Identify a back-up organization contact person in case of emergency, and
exchange cell phone numbers with workplace coordinator(s) |

Ask the organization to provide general information about their
organization in advance of
Day of Caring and to provide an introduction and/or tour of the
organization on
