Training opportunities are offered through United Way of the Capital Area's Nonprofit Resource & Training Center. All sessions are free and open to the public, but registration is required. A training schedule is also published quarterly in United Way of the Capital Area's newsletter, Resources.

The Western Massachusetts Funding Resource Center in Springfield, MA offers "brown-bag lunch" workshops of interest to staff and board members (including proposal writing).
